What size dog bandana should I choose for my pup?

We offer several sizes for our different bandana styles to ensure the perfect fit for every dog! Please check the size chart included in each bandana’s listing photos. As a rule of thumb: start with your dog’s weight, then confirm with neck measurement.

How should I care for my Bark On, Pup Accessories?

  • Bandana Care: Spot clean or hand wash, then lay flat to air dry. For personalized bandanas, iron on the reverse side using low heat.
  •  Hair Bow, Girl Cape Collar, Boy Tuxedo Collar Care: Spot clean only.

How do I measure my pet’s neck correctly?

Wrap a soft measuring tape around your pet’s neck where the collar normally sits. For tie-on and snap-on styles, add about 4 inches to your dog’s neck measurement to allow room for tying or snapping. For slip-on/over-the-collar styles, simply refer to our chart. Always make sure you can fit two fingers comfortably between the bandana and your pet’s neck.

What if my dog is between sizes?

If your pup falls between sizes, we always recommend sizing up for comfort. A slightly larger bandana will look better proportioned and fit more comfortably than one that’s too snug.

Do I need a collar for all bandanas?

No! Only slip-on (over-the-collar) bandanas require a collar. Tie-on and snap-on styles are designed to be worn without one.

Are bandanas just for dogs?

Not at all! Many cats love them too. Most cats fit best in size Small (or Extra Small for petite cats). If you’re unsure, send us a message before purchasing—we’ll be happy to help.

Will my bandana look exactly like the photo?

Each bandana is handmade with love, so slight variations in size and pattern placement may occur—making every piece one-of-a-kind.
